It’s not often we make a point of mentioning the worst casino, but as this revolves around cruises with casinos we thought it best to give you a heads up.

P&O Cruise Casinos

You may have already noticed we’ve omitted this very popular brand from all of our lists above. Now we want to start off by saying that P&0 are actually one of our favourite cruise lines, but we felt their cruise ship casino was severely lacking. We’ve sailed on a few of their ships, including the Britannia, Iona and Arvia. Despite being impressive cruise ships of varying size, we found the casino experience to be the same.

Our first P&O cruise was the Britannia which is an older and smaller ship, but the casino was quite small with just a handful of slots and table games. So when we booked the newer much larger Iona, we expected a bigger casino, but sadly it was of similar size. Therefore we can safely say that P&O are definitely not a cruise line for gamblers.

Sadly this is another area where P&O are lacking, where other cruise lines manage to cater for families and gamblers, P&O just tend to go for families and older clientele.
